“Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.” – Psalm 23:4 (NKJV)
Prayer of the Day: Praying for God’s Protection and Mercy on Yom Kippur
Wonder-working God,
On this holy day of atonement, I ask that You look not upon my errors and sins, but grant me Your mercy and grace.
In the name of Jesus, perform the wonder of my safety as I walk through the valley of the shadow of death.
Cover me with Your protection, and let no harm come near me. Even in the darkest moments, I trust in Your mighty hand to deliver me from all danger and evil.
Thank You, Lord, for the assurance that Your mercy endures forever and that Your wonders are still at work in my life.
Amen.
